- Create and deliver dependable, secure software for a high-visibility mission-critical customer
- Investigate and fix production problems promptly and effectively
- Work with a strong delivery team on technical solutions for critical federal systems
- Maintain existing systems while designing and modernizing bespoke enterprise applications
- Use secure development practices throughout the software lifecycle
- Take part in code reviews and Agile activities such as planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Help build and maintain CI/CD workflows and automated release processes
- Explain technical decisions and solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Build customer confidence through sound technical judgment and professional conduct
- Develop creative, practical solutions aligned with customer and mission objectives
- Serve as essential personnel for continuity of operations, including potential support during shutdowns, emergencies, or other critical events
Requirements
- Hold an active Top Secret clearance with current or prior SCI access
- Prefer a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering; comparable experience may be accepted
- Possess a DoD 8140-aligned certification, such as Security+ or higher
- Hold Azure Developer Associate, AWS Developer Associate, or a recent, relevant software development certification
- Bring at least 10 years of professional experience developing, testing, and maintaining enterprise software in mission-critical settings
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in C#, .NET, .NET Framework, Entity Framework, and ASP.NET, including WebForms, MVC, or REST APIs
- Have front-end experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Node.js, and Angular and/or React
- Have back-end database development and administration experience with SQL Server and T-SQL
- Use source control platforms such as Azure DevOps, GitLab, or GitHub
- Understand CI/CD practices and Docker-based containerization
- Know Windows Server, PowerShell, IIS, Kerberos, and OIDC authentication
- Be ready to contribute with minimal onboarding in a fast-moving, mission-critical environment
