Senior Site Reliability Engineer - T-Mobile, Frisco
T-Mobile is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to improve the reliability and resilience of its distributed payment platform. The role focuses on automation, incident response, root cause analysis, and secure, scalable software delivery.
Description
- Improve system reliability and resilience by identifying issues and implementing preventive measures that reduce downtime
- Increase the reliability and scalability of distributed payment systems using Cassandra, other NoSQL databases, and SQL databases
- Automate workflows to speed software development and deployment while reducing manual intervention
- Perform root cause analysis and work with problem management teams to prevent recurring incidents and improve operations
- Use analytical and problem-solving skills to prevent operational incidents and maintain system stability
- Apply programming, scripting, and incident response expertise to strengthen system robustness and efficiency
- Develop new skills and stay current with technologies that support changing environments and innovation
- Complete additional duties and projects assigned by business management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of related work experience, an advanced degree and 1 year of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience (Required)
