Description

  • Design SAP Datasphere models for dimensions, analytical datasets, and business entities
  • Develop semantic and consumption layers for reporting and analytics
  • Apply data virtualization and zero-copy architectures when appropriate
  • Migrate existing HANA sidecar objects to Datasphere
  • Ingest ECC and S/4HANA data into Datasphere
  • Integrate SAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA, Databricks, and non-SAP sources
  • Build and maintain replication flows, data flows, and pipelines
  • Support real-time and batch integration approaches
  • Create and optimize models for SAP Analytics Cloud and other reporting platforms
  • Work with business teams to define KPIs, metrics, and reporting needs
  • Enable self-service analytics and data product development
  • Apply role-based and attribute-based security controls
  • Meet enterprise data governance requirements
  • Maintain metadata, lineage, and catalog integrations
  • Monitor and improve query performance and processing workloads
  • Resolve data integration and modeling problems
  • Support capacity planning and environment sizing
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Advise on SAP data platform practices and standards
  • Produce documentation, design artifacts, and knowledge-transfer materials

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field
  • At least 7 years of experience delivering SAP data and analytics solutions
  • Practical experience working with SAP Datasphere
  • Strong SQL and data modeling capabilities
  • Experience with SAP HANA, SAP S/4HANA, or SAP BTP
  • Understanding of ETL/ELT principles and enterprise data architecture
  • Experience using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
  • Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake, or Azure data services experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) is preferred
  • Experience with SAP Data Intelligence, SDI, CPI-DS, or comparable integration tools is preferred
  • Understanding of data governance, metadata management, and data lineage solutions is preferred
