Senior Provider Relations Analyst (Remote) | The Cigna Group

Improve Cigna Healthcare’s provider-data integrity and automation through analysis of PRIME data, SQL sources, and loading processes.

Description

  • Create business, functional, and non-functional requirements
  • Contribute to system design reviews, test evidence reviews, and status meetings
  • Identify the data elements needed to load provider information into PRIME (BoR)
  • Apply knowledge of provider and practitioner demographics, contracts, contract management, and PRIME domains
  • Build expertise in PRIME and other BoR systems supporting HCPM
  • Use data analysis to determine whether each load is a new record or an update
  • Partner with matrix teams to evaluate outcomes and maintain accurate loading guidelines
  • Identify remediation opportunities that improve automated provider-data loading and data integrity across provider systems
  • Review validated data elements for quality before BoR ingestion
  • Help the team follow established system process flows
  • Collaborate with business and IT partners to improve provider-data quality and develop automation capabilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher is strongly preferred, or equivalent professional experience
  • Knowledge of provider data domains
  • Familiarity with PRIME contractual structures is preferred
  • Ability to locate, analyze, and maintain HCP data for accurate downstream use
  • Ability to derive extraction criteria through data analytics when top-down extraction is unavailable
  • Healthcare or managed-care experience with direct responsibility for quality analytics and data management, including relational database concepts
  • Advanced knowledge of relational database concepts and applications, particularly SAS Enterprise Guide, SQL databases and tools, and Microsoft Office
  • Proficiency writing SQL procedures for data retrieval
  • Ability to write SAS and SQL programs that query and retrieve data from multiple sources, including Hadoop, SQL Server, and Teradata
  • Strong data-mining capabilities, including research and root-cause analysis
  • Ability to navigate the organization, build subject-matter-expert relationships, and support internal discussions
  • At least one year of Business Systems Analyst experience is highly preferred
  • Home-based work requires cable broadband or fiber-optic internet with minimum speeds of 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload
