Senior Program Cost and Financial Analyst

Manage budget planning, spending reconciliation, and financial reporting for Peraton’s Defense Health Agency infrastructure program. Support Ektropy data quality, audits, executive briefings, and government budget execution.

Description

  • Help develop the Infrastructure and Operations Division’s resource and planning management program.
  • Analyze spending plans and reconcile budget execution.
  • Support audits, financial reporting, and audit readiness.
  • Recommend process improvements for timely, accurate reporting, analysis, and spending plan reconciliation.
  • Support weekly GNOB meetings on the spending plan and Ektropy updates.
  • Handle PRMD taskers for IOD leadership and branch chiefs.
  • Analyze fiscal year requirements, cost variances, savings, and unavoidable spending increases.
  • Attend monthly Ektropy team meetings.
  • Coordinate with the IOD Finance Manager and PRMD on spending plans, Ektropy updates, and ad hoc reports.
  • Prepare real-time updates, reports, extracts, the IOD budget spreadsheet, and Status of Funds reports.
  • Attend weekly and biweekly meetings with division leadership, branch chiefs, Finance, and PRMD.
  • Maintain the Ektropy change log and verify fiscal year requirements.
  • Provide ad hoc guidance to branch chiefs and MTF team members.
  • Track and update funds through their lifecycle in line with financial practices and government guidelines.
  • Audit and update Ektropy records to maintain data quality.
  • Support annual and quarterly budget execution plans, including POM planning.
  • Complete other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 9 years with a high school diploma.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial and resource management.
  • Experience preparing accurate, timely financial reports, executive briefings, and ad hoc analyses.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, formulas, and data validation.
  • Must hold or obtain a favorable Tier 1 (Public Trust) investigation.
  • Proof of U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Defense Health Agency (DHA) and Ektropy application experience is highly desired.
