Description

  • Develop customer-facing payment capabilities such as IC+ pricing, surcharging, and payment automation
  • Use enterprise architecture patterns to build and scale dependable payment systems
  • Share relevant context, risks, and progress through team communication channels
  • Work closely with product partners to move initiatives from concepts to measurable releases
  • Incorporate AI tools into everyday software development practices
  • Contribute to improving the team’s software development methods
  • Support payment functionality used by clinics on Jane

Requirements

  • At least eight years of professional software development experience
  • Deep expertise in backend development
  • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture patterns
  • Experience building and maintaining production-grade software, preferably in SaaS environments
  • Ability to work across the stack or a genuine interest in developing full-stack skills
  • Proactive, action-oriented approach with open, energetic, and collaborative communication
  • Enthusiasm for AI and practical experience applying it professionally
  • Ruby on Rails experience is helpful but not required
  • Payments or financial systems experience is advantageous
  • Background in mortgage technology, property technology, or loyalty and benefit card systems is advantageous
  • Currently reside in Canada
  • Have the legal right to work in Canada without employer sponsorship
  • Able to work without relocation, visa sponsorship, or third-party employer-of-record support
