At least eight years of professional software development experience
Deep expertise in backend development
Strong understanding of enterprise architecture patterns
Experience building and maintaining production-grade software, preferably in SaaS environments
Ability to work across the stack or a genuine interest in developing full-stack skills
Proactive, action-oriented approach with open, energetic, and collaborative communication
Enthusiasm for AI and practical experience applying it professionally
Ruby on Rails experience is helpful but not required
Payments or financial systems experience is advantageous
Background in mortgage technology, property technology, or loyalty and benefit card systems is advantageous
Currently reside in Canada
Have the legal right to work in Canada without employer sponsorship
Able to work without relocation, visa sponsorship, or third-party employer-of-record support
