Senior Manager, Site Reliability Engineering – FedRAMP and AWS GovCloud

Lead site reliability, DevOps, and compliance automation for BeyondTrust’s AWS GovCloud environments as they progress through FedRAMP authorization. Manage engineering teams supporting the company’s identity security SaaS portfolio.

Description

  • Lead a cross-product SRE team responsible for AWS GovCloud environments supporting BeyondTrust products pursuing FedRAMP authorization
  • Manage reliability, change control, continuous compliance, and shared operations across covered environments
  • Build and operate AWS GovCloud landing zones with multi-account architecture, SCPs, guardrails, logging, and security tooling
  • Manage the automated FedRAMP 20x evidence pipeline and monthly continuous-monitoring requirements
  • Oversee CI/CD pipelines, artifact management, security and quality gates, and cloud-cost visibility
  • Enforce auditable production-change controls that separate development and production responsibilities
  • Own release, patching, update, incident-management, on-call, and post-incident processes
  • Automate promotion workflows from development through staging and into production
  • Manage intake and prioritization of operational requests from feature teams and leadership
  • Lead DevOps, SRE, and security automation engineers while establishing accountability, delivery cadence, planning cycles, and team-health reporting
  • Collaborate with the VP of Application Engineering on workforce planning, hiring, role definition, and onboarding

Requirements

  • Bring staff-level technical expertise and review Terraform, pipeline definitions, and architecture proposals with rigor
  • Have hands-on experience building and operating reliability and compliance systems
  • Have managed people, including hiring, developing, and leading a small SRE or DevOps team
  • Have experience with AWS GovCloud and FedRAMP authorization or compliance
  • Understand FedRAMP 20x Key Security Indicators and the standard schema
  • Have worked with multi-account AWS landing zones, SCPs, guardrails, logging, and security tools
  • Have experience provisioning infrastructure through infrastructure-as-code
  • Have owned CI/CD pipelines, build signing, artifact management, and quality and security gates
  • Understand production-change governance, access controls, approval standards, and separation of duties
  • Have managed cloud fleet releases and updates, including staged rollouts, golden images, and upgrade orchestration at hundreds-to-thousands scale
  • Have experience with incident management, on-call models, and post-incident reviews
  • Have led DevOps, SRE, and security automation engineers
  • Can manage intake, prioritization, team capacity, workforce planning, hiring, role design, and onboarding
