Description
- Build software components from approved design specifications
- Carry out system integration and validation testing
- Investigate technical issues and implement resolutions
- Create and maintain unit tests for software components
- Help estimate project scope and delivery schedules
- Work closely with teammates and communicate with project stakeholders
- Contribute technical guidance to product roadmap planning
- Support triage activities through incident analysis and prioritization
- Maintain and improve CI/CD processes
- Help develop and maintain tailored software solutions
- Develop a tax administration system for declarations, calculations, assessments, and integrations with external systems
Requirements
- At least six years of Java development experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Spring Framework and Quarkus
- Working knowledge of microservices architecture and Docker or Kubernetes containers
- Experience with PostgreSQL or another relational database management system
- Background integrating REST and SOAP services and working with Kafka or ActiveMQ messaging
- Solid understanding of software testing principles
- Confident English communication skills
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with stakeholders and distributed teams
- Angular front-end development experience is desirable
- German or Swiss German proficiency is desirable
