Senior Java Developer at Miratech - Poland Remote
Build tax administration software for Miratech’s public-sector clients. Develop Java microservices, integrations, testing, and CI/CD components for complex European government systems.
Description
- Build software components from design specifications
- Carry out system integration and testing
- Investigate and resolve technical issues
- Write and execute unit tests for software components
- Help estimate project scope and delivery schedules
- Work closely with teammates and communicate clearly with project stakeholders
- Contribute technical guidance to product roadmaps
- Join triage activities, including incident analysis and prioritization
- Maintain and improve CI/CD processes
- Develop and support tailored software solutions for a major European public-sector customer
- Contribute to a tax administration platform covering tax declarations, calculations, assessments, and integrations with multiple external systems
Requirements
- At least 6 years of Java development experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Spring Framework and Quarkus
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with relational databases, including PostgreSQL or another RDBMS
- Experience building REST and SOAP integrations and working with messaging systems such as Kafka and ActiveMQ
- Solid understanding of software testing principles
- Confident English communication skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across stakeholders and distributed teams
- Angular front-end development experience is desirable
- German or Swiss German language skills are desirable
