Description

  • Use digital mission engineering to align DoD and industry capabilities with USSTRATCOM’s Enterprise Architecture
  • Provide TDL support for system integration and operational engineering
  • Design, configure, test, and maintain complex infrastructure, operating systems, applications, and system management tools
  • Develop architectures for new and existing computer systems
  • Perform logic and I/O design, model formulation, computer architecture analysis, and digital systems engineering
  • Introduce methods that improve production and operational efficiency
  • Maintain engineering documentation, standards, processes, and procedures
  • Implement, administer, and optimize CI/CD pipeline tools and automation
  • Decompose requirements and support solution development and technical analysis across enterprise IT and mission systems
  • Provide technical guidance on engineering documentation, processes, and procedures

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or another relevant STEM discipline
  • At least 10 years of demonstrated experience in systems engineering, systems architecture, digital engineering, or related technical fields
  • Experience designing and engineering complex infrastructure and computer systems
  • Experience with operating systems, application software, system management tools, and systems integration
  • Experience with logic design, model development, architecture analysis, systems development, and engineering documentation
  • Ability to translate mission or business needs into technical requirements and solution architectures
  • Experience implementing, administering, or improving CI/CD pipelines
  • Ability to create, maintain, and enhance engineering documentation, processes, and procedures
  • ITIL 4 certification required within nine months of hire
  • Working knowledge of MBSE principles and modeling tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler or an equivalent
  • DoD 8140-compliant certification required within six months of hire
  • Active TS/SCI clearance required
  • MBSE, SysML, UAF, OCSMP, or INCOSE training or certifications preferred
  • Enterprise IT domain expertise preferred
  • Experience with DoD, USSTRATCOM, or other defense enterprise architecture environments preferred
  • Must work at the customer site at least five days per week; relocation is not offered
