Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer (Hybrid, Latvia)

Build AI-assisted web applications for Edurio’s global education survey platform. Own technical design, testing, releases, and production reliability across teams in Latvia and England.

Description

  • Own delivery from technical design through full-stack development, release, and production operations
  • Guide coding agents, correct their output, and share effective development practices
  • Create tests, diagnostics, and validation checks that support agent self-correction and reliable results
  • Review colleagues’ code for design quality, downstream effects, hidden coupling, and security concerns
  • Take first response when production software fails, owning fixes, alerts, and runbooks
  • Document systems and keep agent context files current
  • Investigate AI, emerging tools, and agent-led development practices
  • Work with the growing five-person development team, Product, and other departments
  • Report to the Engineering Manager

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience building and operating both front-end and back-end web applications
  • Proficiency using coding agents as part of everyday development
  • A disciplined approach to checking and validating your own work before review
  • Ability to produce technical designs for teammates and coding agents
  • Clear ownership and understanding of submitted code, including code produced with agents
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Experience collaborating across departments
  • Vue.js, TypeScript, or AWS serverless experience—or a willingness to develop in these areas—is helpful but not required
  • Experience with or interest in EdTech is helpful
  • Experience with or interest in UI/UX or product design is helpful
