Description

  • Architect, develop, and deploy modular, cloud-based platforms with role-aware capabilities
  • Work independently across frontend and backend engineering tasks
  • Own features from initial development through delivery
  • Help shape technical architecture and implementation decisions
  • Create responsive React applications with role-based rendering, dynamic forms, and notification workflows
  • Build containerized services running on AWS Fargate
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs
  • Design and query relational data models in Aurora PostgreSQL
  • Use DynamoDB to manage audit and event records
  • Implement API routing with internal ALB patterns and AppConfig-based configuration
  • Connect event-driven services through EventBridge and SQS
  • Protect data with S3, KMS encryption, Directory Service, and IAM role-based access controls
  • Follow infrastructure-as-code practices with CloudFormation and/or CDK
  • Work within an established continuous integration and delivery pipeline
  • Create and maintain unit and integration test coverage
  • Apply NIST 800-53-aligned secure development controls, centralized logging, and CloudWatch monitoring

Requirements

  • Hold an active Top Secret clearance and be able to obtain SCI/CI Poly if required by the contract
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification
  • At least 8 years of full stack development experience
  • Demonstrated experience building responsive, component-based React applications with role-based interfaces, dynamic forms, and notification features
  • Experience designing AWS Fargate containerized services and RESTful APIs
  • Experience modeling and querying Aurora PostgreSQL data, with working knowledge of DynamoDB
  • Knowledge of API architecture and routing using internal ALBs and AppConfig-driven configuration
  • Experience integrating event-driven systems with EventBridge and SQS
  • Experience securing data with S3, KMS encryption, Directory Service, and IAM-based role access controls
  • Professional experience delivering solutions in AWS GovCloud
  • Experience applying infrastructure as code with CloudFormation and/or CDK
  • Experience working within an established CI/CD delivery process
  • Experience creating and maintaining unit and integration tests
  • Knowledge of secure development practices aligned with NIST 800-53 controls
  • Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and with a team
