Senior Front-End Engineer, Angular
Build Angular applications for People10’s logistics system rewrites, contributing across design, implementation, testing, and analysis. Work with project managers, QA, users, and other teams through the full software development lifecycle.
Description
- Build applications with Angular versions 13–18 and later.
- Design and review software throughout the full development lifecycle.
- Clarify and analyze software requirements.
- Investigate software and system defects, including root-cause analysis.
- Contribute to end-to-end rewrites for logistics projects.
- Handle software design, analysis, new development, coding, and unit testing.
- Coordinate with project managers, QA, user groups, and colleagues across the organization.
- Develop front-end software for projects serving Laufer Group International.
Requirements
- Bring 5–6 years of professional experience.
- Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, or have equivalent experience or qualifications.
- Have at least five years of engineering experience with Angular, especially versions 13–18 and later.
- Demonstrate expert knowledge of Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, and RxJS.
- Demonstrate expert knowledge of REST APIs and security practices.
- Be able to build responsive HTML5 and SCSS templates that work across browsers.
- Have working knowledge of source control and project tools, including Git and JIRA.
- Bring hands-on experience with NG Bootstrap and Ag-Grid.
- Have experience using an IDE such as Eclipse or IBM Liberty.
- Know the Spring Framework, Core Java, JSP, and JSTL.
- Be familiar with SQL, SOA, DB2, and JDBC.
- Work independently with limited supervision.
- Contribute effectively in a collaborative setting.
- Apply creative, resourceful, and innovative problem-solving skills.
- Communicate clearly, listen actively, and understand system requirements.
- Show the ability to learn new knowledge and skills.
