Description

  • Lead global accounting, treasury, and finance operations
  • Manage general ledger accounting, group consolidation, cross-border invoicing, transfer pricing, and monthly reporting for 20 legal entities across 8 countries
  • Deliver month-end close by WD+5 for entities and WD+7 for group consolidation, with no unreconciled balance sheet items
  • Prepare accounting position papers for complex financial reporting matters
  • Lead group and local statutory audits with external auditors and regional advisors
  • Maintain group accounting policies and oversee the enterprise risk register
  • Manage global corporate insurance renewals and protect intellectual property assets
  • Direct treasury activities, including 13-week rolling cash flow forecasts, liquidity management, and intercompany cash pooling
  • Apply dual-authorization banking controls and coordinate group-wide accounts receivable collection strategies
  • Manage the global finance systems environment, including NetSuite ERP, QuickBooks, and Xero
  • Standardize workflows, automate processes, and integrate data across finance platforms
  • Build scalable finance processes and strengthen internal controls
  • Manage, mentor, and develop 5–6 internal accountants and 4 outsourced accounting partner teams
  • Define operational SLAs, align workflows, and promote accountability and knowledge sharing

Requirements

  • Hold a professional accounting qualification
  • Bring at least 10 years of experience in financial control, business finance, or senior finance management
  • Communicate fluently in written and spoken English
  • Swedish language proficiency is advantageous
  • Demonstrate the ability to influence stakeholders through financial analysis and insight
  • Have extensive experience in financial reporting, group consolidation, and statutory compliance
  • Have worked across finance systems and ERP environments, with NetSuite experience required
  • QuickBooks and Xero experience is preferred
  • Have led statutory audits with Big Four or Tier 1 audit firms; PwC audit experience is highly valued
  • Demonstrate strong treasury expertise, including 13-week cash flow modelling and intercompany funding management
  • Have advanced Excel skills and familiarity with BI tools for automation and analysis
  • Communicate effectively and collaborate across cultures
  • Be able to work flexibly across time zones with a globally distributed team
  • Show a high level of independence, initiative, and ownership
