Senior Electronics Hardware Team Lead and Lead Architect

Lead Loxone’s electronics hardware platforms while building the team and guiding standards for intelligent building automation products. Own series-product quality, development standards, and lifecycle improvements across the organization.

Description

  • Lead and manage the Hardware Platform team.
  • Define and maintain platform standards for power supply, communications, I/O, and EMC.
  • Set binding technical specifications for new developments across the Loxone Group.
  • Own the technical lifecycle of series products, including optimization, end-of-life planning, and engineering changes.
  • Investigate field issues and turn findings into lasting product improvements.
  • Support reliable series production with EMS partners.
  • Partner with Firmware, Product Management, and Quality Assurance teams.
  • Coordinate project resources and priorities with Project Managers.
  • Maintain development standards, best practices, and quality processes across locations.
  • Support technical decisions and drive ongoing development-process improvements.

Requirements

  • Bring several years of experience—ideally seven or more—in electronic product architecture or development.
  • Have experience in industrial electronics, building automation, or consumer electronics.
  • Demonstrate strong hardware expertise in areas such as power supplies, mixed-signal design, RF or communication interfaces, or EMC.
  • Have worked as a Lead Engineer, Hardware Architect, or technical Team Lead.
  • Bring experience with product maintenance, optimization, component engineering, or EMS-partner collaboration.
  • Technical leadership experience is helpful but not mandatory.
  • Experience establishing and applying technical standards across multiple products or business units is helpful but not mandatory.
  • Take a strong quality-focused and solution-oriented approach to engineering work.
  • Communicate fluently in German and English.
