Senior Drainage CADD Designer – Phoenix, Arizona Onsite

Senior Drainage CADD Designer role with TYPSA US, supporting drainage design and digital deliverables for freeway, highway, and municipal roadway projects in Phoenix.

Description

  • Support senior designers with drainage designs and contract documents for the Arizona Drainage Group within the Transportation Practice
  • Assist with drainage infrastructure design and plan production for freeway, highway, and municipal roadway projects under senior engineering guidance
  • Prepare and review project plans and digital deliverables
  • Build technical knowledge and skills that contribute to the Phoenix office’s growth and success
  • Develop strong working relationships with project teams and contribute to a positive team environment

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification
  • At least 10 years of experience in civil engineering or a related field
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or Bentley OpenRoads
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Planning, scheduling, organization, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to quickly establish effective working relationships with project colleagues
  • Ability to contribute to a positive team environment
  • Working knowledge of interacting tactfully, diplomatically, and respectfully with diverse populations
  • Hydrology and hydraulics experience is a plus
  • ProjectWise experience is a plus
