Senior Data Governance Coordinator - Paris Hybrid

Join Citeo in Paris to coordinate data governance and lead the Syderep regulatory project. Improve data processes, reliability, and compliance for an organization reducing the environmental impact of packaging and paper.

Description

  • Build, facilitate, and maintain Citeo’s data governance framework
  • Define responsibilities across data representatives, stewards, domain leaders, data teams, and business stakeholders
  • Create and run data communities, committees, and decision forums while tracking actions and outcomes
  • Help business teams apply governance policies and standards
  • Document and communicate data processes, access rules, requests, decisions, and decision workflows
  • Surface operational friction and support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Formalize accountability workflows and operating standards
  • Coordinate governance decisions, requalify requests, and ensure secure policy execution
  • Manage data-domain maps, the business glossary, critical data, and master data tools
  • Set documentation standards and guide contributors in applying them
  • Prepare management deliverables such as action plans, RACI matrices, workshop materials, dashboards, and risk and decision logs
  • Lead the Syderep regulatory initiative and coordinate data collection, consolidation, validation, and delivery to ADEME
  • Review reporting processes to identify weaknesses and error risks
  • Support phased automation to strengthen data reliability and meet regulatory deadlines

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in data management, information systems, transformation, organizational management, project management, or a related discipline
  • At least seven years of substantial experience in data governance, data management, a data office, or data transformation
  • Demonstrated success facilitating cross-functional initiatives and managing operational projects
  • Strong knowledge of data governance and management concepts, including catalogs, glossaries, critical data, ownership, quality, lifecycle, and accountability
  • Ability to design operating models, processes, RACI matrices, documentation standards, and dashboards
  • Proficiency in change management, communication, facilitation, community building, and influencing without formal authority
  • Experience with project delivery, continuous improvement, process analysis, and automation of recurring work
  • Comfort with collaboration, documentation, and work-tracking tools
  • Experience with a data catalog is an advantage
  • Knowledge of regulatory or institutional reporting processes is beneficial
  • Professional English proficiency is advantageous depending on stakeholder interactions and documentation needs
