Description
- Create and operate scalable data pipelines for risk management and regulatory reporting across XTB Group
- Develop and optimise data models and datasets supporting financial risk, capital adequacy, enterprise risk management, and regulatory reporting
- Connect data from internal systems, applying consistent transformations and making it reliably available through the data platform
- Implement automated data-quality checks, reconciliation processes, and monitoring
- Deliver solutions that reduce manual work and expand automation within the Risk Control Department
- Analyse large datasets covering trading activity, client exposures, financial instruments, market data, and regulatory information
- Partner with risk specialists and quantitative analysts to convert business and regulatory needs into technical solutions
- Help evolve risk data architecture through Databricks-based solutions and modern data-engineering practices
- Diagnose performance constraints and strengthen the reliability, maintainability, and efficiency of data processes
- Contribute to engineering standards, peer reviews, and technical design decisions
Requirements
- Several years of professional experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or a comparable technical role
- Strong hands-on SQL skills, including complex transformations and work with large datasets
- Practical Python experience for data processing, automation, and integration
- Experience designing and maintaining production ETL or ELT pipelines
- Experience working with modern cloud data warehouses
- Sound understanding of data modelling, data quality, and data governance principles
- Experience applying version control, testing, and software-engineering practices to data solutions
- Ability to investigate complex problems independently and develop pragmatic, maintainable solutions
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technical teams and business specialists
- Good command of English
