Senior Cloud Migration Program Manager at AIS (Virginia Remote)

Lead AIS enterprise cloud migrations from on-premises data centers to Azure and AWS. Manage schedules, risks, customer relationships, reporting, and contractual delivery.

Description

  • Lead governance for a large-scale enterprise cloud migration from on-premises data centers to Azure and AWS
  • Manage program performance against cost, schedule, scope, and quality baselines, including spending plans and margins
  • Lead program leadership and migration teams while maintaining appropriate staffing
  • Develop and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule, comparing planned and actual progress against milestones
  • Identify, monitor, and mitigate program risks and issues, escalating them to customer and AIS leadership as needed
  • Act as AIS’s primary customer escalation contact and build relationships with customer stakeholders and teaming partners
  • Deliver recurring status reports to the customer and AIS leadership
  • Ensure contracted scope, service levels, and deliverables are completed and documented through customer acceptance
  • Approve AIS and subcontractor invoices
  • Validate contract scope, deliverables, and acceptance criteria during the first 90 days
  • Establish risk management, customer reporting, and working relationships while guiding the program from initial assessment through the first migrations

Requirements

  • US citizenship
  • At least 10 years of program and/or project management experience
  • Experience leading enterprise-scale migrations to Azure and AWS
  • A record of meeting contractual commitments, managing risk, and achieving profitability targets
  • Experience managing an Integrated Master Schedule and dependencies across multiple concurrent migration workstreams
  • Intermediate proficiency at Career Framework Level 3 in program, schedule, scope, and stakeholder management
  • Federal program delivery experience preferred
  • Experience with Azure Government or AWS GovCloud preferred
  • PMP, Scrum Master, or FAC-P/PM certification preferred
  • Experience with enterprise IT change management and release processes preferred
  • Prior leadership experience with a record of building high-performing teams preferred
