Description

  • Build and manage Azure infrastructure with Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.
  • Automate Azure deployments and resource management through Azure DevOps pipelines, scripts, and related tools.
  • Track and improve Azure service performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines for Azure-hosted applications and services.
  • Partner with development teams to connect repositories, build workflows, and deployment automation.
  • Maintain sound version control and release management practices.
  • Administer Linux servers to support availability, security, and performance.
  • Handle system updates, patching, and configuration management with Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
  • Diagnose networking, security, system, and application performance problems.
  • Apply security best practices across Azure services and Linux servers.
  • Complete security reviews and audits, then implement required patches and updates.
  • Support compliance with applicable regulations and industry standards.
  • Coordinate with development, QA, and operations teams to improve workflows and efficiency.
  • Support production systems, including participation in on-call rotations when required.
  • Record procedures, configurations, and operational guidance for Azure and Linux environments.

Requirements

  • Senior-level, L3 experience as an Azure DevOps Engineer.
  • Demonstrated experience with Azure services, including virtual machines, networking, storage, and security.
  • Strong Linux administration skills across platforms such as Red Hat, Ubuntu, or CentOS.
  • Practical experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab, or comparable platforms.
  • Ability to script with Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
  • Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience tuning performance, monitoring systems, and planning capacity across cloud and Linux environments.
  • Strong analytical ability and structured troubleshooting skills.
  • Clear communication and effective collaboration skills.
  • Thorough documentation habits and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while managing competing priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • Azure certification, such as Azure Administrator or Azure DevOps Engineer, is preferred.
  • Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Functions, or Logic Apps is preferred.
  • Experience with cloud network security and VPN configuration is preferred.
  • Familiarity with SQL or NoSQL database administration in cloud environments is preferred.
