Senior Full-Stack Engineer – United States Remote

Build full-stack features, integrations, and dependable data workflows for CloudPSO’s operational platform serving alternative investment managers. This full-time remote role is based in the United States.

Description

  • Deliver and maintain frontend functionality, backend services, and APIs
  • Develop data-ingestion pipelines that handle APIs, SFTP, object storage, and uploaded files
  • Add validation, normalization, and actionable error reporting to data workflows
  • Operate scheduled jobs with reliable retries, duplicate handling, time-zone support, and business-calendar logic
  • Write efficient SQL and implement database migrations through the review process
  • Maintain versioned data, historical snapshots, and complete audit trails
  • Enforce access controls on the server and follow secure data-handling practices
  • Develop unit and integration coverage for workflows critical to the business
  • Diagnose application and production problems, then record their causes and resolutions
  • Take part in code reviews, releases, and technical documentation
  • Work with the Technical Lead and DevOps specialists to resolve installation and upgrade problems
  • Become proficient with the application and independently complete agreed features and fixes during the first 90 days
  • Strengthen the reliability and diagnosability of designated integrations
  • Help maintain release documentation and repeatable deployment processes

Requirements

  • A track record of independently shipping full-stack features to production
  • Proficiency in both backend and frontend development
  • Solid PostgreSQL and SQL fundamentals
  • Hands-on experience developing and consuming APIs and connecting external systems
  • Experience with background processing, scheduled jobs, and failure handling
  • Working knowledge of authentication, authorization, and secure software development
  • Experience creating automated tests and using Git and CI/CD workflows
  • Strong debugging ability across application code, databases, and integrations
  • Ability to communicate clearly and produce useful documentation
  • Willingness to own assigned work within a small delivery team
  • Employment is contingent on verification of work authorization, employment history, and professional references
  • Successful completion of a role-relevant technical assessment
  • Core engineering responsibilities must be carried out within the United States
