Senior AWS Cloud and DevOps Engineer

Description
- Build and manage AWS infrastructure, with occasional Azure work, for enterprise and regulated environments
- Deliver Infrastructure as Code with Terraform
- Create and maintain CI/CD delivery pipelines
- Administer containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes
- Contribute to cloud architecture focused on cost efficiency, security, and scalability
- Advance automation, monitoring, and observability practices
- Investigate and resolve incidents under time-sensitive conditions
- Partner with development, security, and product teams within a DevOps operating model
- Use Claude Code, Copilot, and Cursor to support effective development
- Address cloud and platform initiatives for large corporations, public-sector organizations, and enterprise and mid-sized customers
Requirements
- Senior-level experience with the ability to contribute independently from the outset
- Strong command of AWS architecture and operations
- AWS Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer certification is preferred
- Hands-on Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform or CloudFormation
- Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience building CI/CD workflows with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
- Proficiency with Git and agile delivery practices
- Working knowledge of Linux, networking, and security fundamentals
- Ability to script with Python, Bash, or Go
- German language proficiency at C1 level or above
- Effective use of AI tools including Claude Code, Copilot, and Cursor
- Additional experience with IAM tools such as One Identity or Keycloak, cloud security, Grafana, Prometheus, Apache Kafka, Azure, or GCP is advantageous
- Adaptability and willingness to learn unfamiliar environments quickly
