Sales Support Specialist – Electrical Switchgear, 80–100% Hybrid in Baden
Develop technically viable service quotations for ABB customers using electrical switchgear and power distribution systems. Support retrofit and modernization scoping, costing, and customer proposal development.
Description
- Review customer inquiries and quotation requests for electrical switchgear service, retrofit, and modernization work
- Establish project scope, key components, and service deliverables from technical requirements and on-site feasibility
- Verify solution availability and technical feasibility with Engineering, Project Management, and Field Service colleagues
- Develop cost estimates and technical sales documents for commercially competitive, risk-aware proposals
- Help improve and streamline the quotation process over time
- Work closely with Service Sales, Project Management, Engineering, and Field Service teams
Requirements
- Completed technical training in electrical engineering or equivalent practical experience in a technical setting
- Additional education at technician, university of applied sciences, or university level is advantageous
- Hands-on experience with low- or medium-voltage switchgear through assembly, commissioning, service, engineering, retrofit, or project delivery
- Solid knowledge of electrical power distribution, switchgear components, and service solutions centered on customer needs
- Interest in technical-commercial work and the ability to turn technical requirements into clear, financially sound proposals
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong German and English communication skills, or French and English communication skills
