R&F Inspector – Nestlé Baby Food Quality

Inspect and sort quality-held baby food products for Gerber, Nestlé’s children’s nutrition brand. The role involves returning, reworking, or isolating products at the Fort Smith facility.

Description

  • Collect assignment paperwork and prepare the inspection process.
  • Inspect products placed on quality hold using appropriate methods.
  • Unload jars from cages or cases onto inspection tables.
  • Open cases and remove products for visual inspection.
  • Decide whether products should return to the warehouse, be destroyed, or undergo rework.
  • Retrieve designated pallets and product samples from Quality.
  • Return acceptable products to the warehouse.
  • Identify and separate defective products for destruction.
  • Keep the work area clean and orderly.
  • Place inspected items in the appropriate cases or containers.
  • Work at a faster-than-normal pace while performing intermittent to moderate physical activity.
  • Maintain housekeeping in the work area.

Requirements

  • At least six months of relevant work experience
  • Strong computer knowledge
  • Ability to read and understand written information
  • Careful attention to detail
  • Basic addition and subtraction skills
  • Computer proficiency
  • Valid lift truck license
