Remote Sensing Engineer (Onsite) – Beavercreek, OH

Develop physics-based OPIR algorithms and image-processing software for defense and intelligence programs at Radiance Technologies. Use data analysis, embedded systems, and visualization techniques to support mission-focused engineering work.

Description

  • Build physics-based algorithms for processing and exploiting OPIR data
  • Create software that supports image-processing pipelines
  • Analyze algorithm outputs using data analysis and visualization techniques
  • Work with hardware engineers, software developers, and project leaders to develop, deploy, and assess software
  • Produce technical reports and presentation materials
  • Share findings and progress updates with project leaders, colleagues, and customers

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, physics, engineering, or a related field
  • Active Secret clearance
  • At least five years of software development experience on Department of War or Intelligence Community programs
  • Professional experience with Python
  • Experience using systems programming languages such as C++ or Rust
  • Experience developing embedded software
  • Preferred: Master’s degree in computer science, physics, engineering, or a related field
  • Preferred: Eligibility for TS/SCI clearance
  • Preferred: Experience supporting OPIR missions on Department of War or Intelligence Community programs
  • Preferred: Additional experience developing embedded software
  • Preferred: Familiarity with FPGA architectures
  • Preferred: Experience with AI, machine learning, or agent workflows
  • Preferred: Experience developing detection and tracking algorithms
