Remote Accounting Manager – Vantage Data Centers

Manage close activities, reconciliations, cost classification, lease-related billing, and financial reporting for Vantage Data Centers’ hyperscale facilities.

Description

  • Evaluate invoices, journal entries, and related transactions to confirm accurate cost classification
  • Support tenant billing by capturing recoverable lease costs and ensuring they are billed correctly
  • Identify and monitor reimbursable and non-reimbursable costs
  • Maintain accounting records for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
  • Investigate discrepancies, prepare adjusting entries, and complete cost reclassifications
  • Keep transaction-level documentation prepared for audit review
  • Partner with Construction and Financial Analysis teams on cost coding
  • Support year-end documentation requests from internal and external auditors
  • Complete quarter-end fixed asset activities as needed
  • Contribute to monthly close, journal-entry support, reconciliations, internal reporting, global allocations, and non-routine accounting projects

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Accounting or equivalent experience is required
  • Three to four years in public accounting or at least seven years in an accounting position is required
  • Working knowledge of GAAP is required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to collaborate across the organization and complete required tasks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Highly organized, with careful attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Commitment to ongoing improvement and process optimization
  • Willingness to travel up to 5%, with travel potentially increasing over time
  • Real estate industry experience is preferred but not required
  • Finance experience is preferred but not required
  • SOX experience is preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of Yardi is preferred but not required
