Description
- Define the cluster’s testing strategy, standards, and architecture
- Establish testing levels, automation practices, risk-based approaches, and quality criteria
- Lead decoupled automation, test data management, and quality gates integrated into CI/CD pipelines
- Ensure tests remain stable, fast, and maintainable
- Lead quality engineering teams
- Establish quality metrics and maturity models
- Drive continuous improvement
- Communicate quality risks and outcomes to technical and executive teams
Requirements
- A degree in systems or a related discipline, plus a specialization or master’s degree in software engineering, quality, or management
- More than 10 years of experience in software quality or test engineering
- At least 5 years of experience leading quality teams or departments
- Experience designing automation architectures, API tests, contract and interface tests, test data management, reproducible environments, and quality gates integrated into CI/CD
- Strong programming knowledge in Java, Python, C#, or TypeScript
- Knowledge of quality metrics and technical leadership
- Advanced proficiency in Java, Python, C#, TypeScript, API testing, contract testing, UI testing, CI/CD, quality gates, test automation, microservices, service virtualization, Git, cloud, containers, performance testing, security testing, AI applied to testing, and ISTQB
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and innovative approaches
