Project Manager, Data Analyst — Global Trade Compliance

Coordinate cross-functional Global Trade Compliance projects at KLA, a semiconductor inspection and metrology technology company. Build dashboards, track risks, and use project data to improve execution.

Description

  • Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, dependency maps, and deliverables for cross-functional initiatives.
  • Act as the central contact for assigned projects.
  • Lead meetings, record decisions, escalate risks, and share status updates with stakeholders.
  • Monitor project risks, issues, resource needs, and constraints.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools that show project status, milestones, risks, dependencies, and KPIs.
  • Improve project delivery processes, cut manual status reporting, and standardize PMO practices.
  • Collect, validate, and report project data accurately.
  • Use performance data to inform decisions, monitor schedule health, and find ways to improve project execution.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in business, project management, data science, information technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Two to five years of experience managing projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, and using data or reporting tools to track project performance.
  • Ability to organize complex work, define scope, manage timelines, track dependencies, resolve issues, and keep stakeholders aligned.
  • Experience with Jira, Asana, MS Project, Monday.com, ClickUp, Smartsheet, or similar project management tools.
  • Advanced SQL skills for querying and validating datasets.
  • Hands-on experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar visualization tools.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP, and complex formulas.
  • Experience with workflow automation tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • PMP, CAPM, or Scrum Master certification is a plus.
  • Minimum qualifications by education level and related work experience: doctorate and 3 years; master's degree and 6 years; or bachelor's degree and 8 years.
