Product Engineer Co-Op – Interventional Medical Devices
Support the design, testing, and manufacturing of interventional medical devices as a Product Engineer Co-Op at Heraeus Medevio’s onsite Fridley facility. Gain hands-on experience with regulated product development and engineering quality activities.
Description
- Contribute to design and development work for new interventional medical device products
- Support project scope activities and documentation for the regulated medical device industry
- Help develop test methods that characterize design performance outputs
- Conduct testing and complete quality deliverables to verify design outputs meet design inputs
- Prepare engineering investigation reports based on test data
- Take part in product development team meetings and related activities
- Adapt promptly to shifting priorities
- Complete other assigned duties
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical, Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or a comparable engineering program
- Minimum 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale
- Able to work full-time onsite throughout the co-op
- Strong analytical capabilities
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities
- Able to work independently and contribute effectively as part of a team
- Motivated to apply academic engineering concepts to real-world situations
