Principal .NET Engineer Manager – Dallas Onsite

Lead enterprise .NET architecture, modernization, and technology delivery for EY’s financial services clients. Build secure, high-volume platforms while guiding engineering teams and senior stakeholders.

Description

  • Own architecture and technology roadmaps for complex enterprise initiatives
  • Create secure engineering patterns, reusable frameworks, and delivery governance
  • Direct cross-functional technical decisions, modernization programs, dependencies, and risk management
  • Advise senior clients and internal leaders on technical strategy and trade-offs
  • Coach and develop engineers and technical leaders through feedback and career support
  • Establish reusable standards and strengthen engineering capabilities across the organization
  • Promote rigorous practices for code quality, security, testing, and automation
  • Convert business and technical requirements into secure, integrated applications
  • Oversee delivery of high-volume, business-critical production systems for financial services clients
  • Design, configure, test, analyze, deliver, and support technology solutions
  • Adapt to shifting priorities while learning and applying evolving technologies

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree, advanced degree, or equivalent experience is preferred
  • At least 6 years of relevant experience developing business-critical, enterprise applications, including architecture and technical leadership
  • Advanced proficiency with .NET, ASP.NET MVC, WCF, and C#
  • Strong experience designing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures
  • Hands-on experience with SOAP, JSON, XML, log4net, uDeploy, Jenkins, SQL Server, IIS, Oracle, Ant, Maven, and Groovy
  • Experience working with Oracle and writing and optimizing SQL queries
  • Demonstrated ownership of application architecture, engineering governance, and technical-leader mentoring
  • Ability to work in Agile environments with senior business and technical stakeholders
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 30% of the time
  • Containerization and AWS experience are beneficial; AWS Cloud Certification is a plus
  • Knowledge of TDD, CI/CD, and automated regression testing is a plus
  • Experience with Entity Framework, data-access patterns, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS or Azure, GenAI tools, distributed databases, and financial brokerage domains is preferred
