Description

  • Set technical strategy for demand-side delivery across the partner portfolio.
  • Establish standards for Forward Deployed Engineering and Solutions Engineering.
  • Create and roll out standard operating procedures and delivery practices.
  • Lead complex integrations, ambiguous projects, and integrations for new verticals from start to finish.
  • Make custom builds repeatable with shared modules, templates, and runbooks.
  • Design and govern AI-native engineering practices, including code-generation pipelines, mapping automation, test-scaffolding agents, and human-review gates.
  • Coach Forward Deployed Engineers through design and code reviews.
  • Build Product and Engineering feedback loops that reduce future custom work.
  • Run technical working sessions with partner engineering teams for critical integrations and hosted experiences.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of experience, including senior- or staff-level work in integration, platform, or forward-deployed engineering.
  • People leadership experience or strong informal team leadership is preferred.
  • Write production-quality code in Scala and/or Python.
  • Work comfortably with Node.js/TypeScript for SDKs and tooling.
  • Bring deep REST/JSON API expertise, covering authentication, idempotency, schema evolution, versioning, monitoring, and incident response.
  • Show a record of building reusable architecture, tools, or playbooks that increased team output without comparable headcount growth.
  • Experience with AI-native workflows and tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot.
  • Facilitate technical working sessions directly with partner engineering teams.
