Description
- Help drive sales of Artisanal Brewing Ventures’ brands
- Represent the company and its brands with professionalism, positivity, enthusiasm, and product knowledge at events, festivals, and tastings
- Interact with customers and explain the company’s beers
- Set up, dismantle, and clean pouring stations at event locations
- Transport and care for tables, equipment, displays, and promotional materials
- Pour beer and distribute promotional items
- Explain beer characteristics to customers
- Maintain a polished, professional presence
- Assist the Sales team when needed
- Participate in brewery training to remain informed about current offerings
- Handle other business-related responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
- Applicants must be at least 21 years old
- High school graduation is required; a college degree is preferred
- Demonstrated passion for craft beer and appreciation of its culture
- Strong communication abilities, especially public speaking skills
- Outgoing, energetic, and self-assured personality
- Availability for nights and weekends, with flexibility when schedules are provided in advance
- Certified Cicerone or Certified Beer Server credentials are advantageous
- Willingness to make regular visits to bars, restaurants, stores, and festivals, including outdoor locations
- A valid state driver’s license is required and must remain valid throughout employment
- Must follow responsible alcohol service and legal conduct requirements
- Ability to lift at least 31.5 pounds from ground level to a shelf 50 inches above the floor
- Ability to move a 165-pound keg of beer by sliding it across the floor
- Successful completion of post-offer, pre-employment background and driver’s license checks is required
- Compliance with worksite safety policies and procedures
