Description

  • Keep patient insurance records up to date.
  • Manage the doctor’s schedule to make effective use of appointment time.
  • Work with the clinical team to provide a positive patient experience.
  • Meet deadlines and prioritize tasks around the patient schedule.
  • Collect patient payments professionally and efficiently.
  • Translate doctors’ diagnoses and treatment recommendations into treatment plans.
  • Explain treatment options and related costs to patients.
  • Protect confidential information in line with HIPAA requirements.
  • Handle other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of customer service experience.
  • Medical or dental experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of dental terminology.
  • Basic office skills, including typing and filing.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Careful attention to detail.
  • Leadership and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States; authorization is verified through E-Verify.
