Onsite Merchandiser / Order Writer - Decatur, GA

Work full time for Mondelēz International, stocking and promoting Oreo, Ritz, and other iconic snacks in Decatur-area stores. Manage product orders, displays, store relationships, and shelf availability.

Description

  • Represent Mondelēz brands in stores while taking ownership of the biscuit aisle
  • Provide responsive service to store teams and shoppers
  • Complete daily store visits under Mondelēz’ DSD Merchandising Excellence standards and capture display photos through DMI
  • Develop working relationships with backroom receivers, store managers, and other store staff
  • Use an iPad and Salesforce to place orders and keep shelves and displays stocked
  • Set up promotional displays and follow store plans negotiated by the RTM
  • Work from the daily schedules and priorities established by the RTM
  • Assist with seasonal selling periods, product introductions, and prominent merchandising events
  • Share store-level observations, problems, and opportunities with the RTM and management
  • Handle hands-on merchandising tasks such as lifting, bending, moving, and stocking products

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Valid state-issued driver’s license required
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Positive, professional, self-directed approach with the ability to work independently
  • Ability to drive a properly insured personal vehicle to multiple store locations
  • Ability to repeatedly lift, bend, and carry loads up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to occasionally push and pull more than 50 pounds
  • Retail or grocery experience is helpful
  • Must live within 25–35 miles of the primary Decatur, Georgia location
  • Availability required on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
