Onsite IT Support Engineer – West Deptford

Provide onsite IT support for Veranova’s pharmaceutical API development and manufacturing infrastructure in West Deptford. Maintain Azure, VMware, Veeam, end-user systems, networks, and site technology.

Description

  • Maintain site infrastructure and ensure it operates to required standards
  • Deliver onsite support for availability management and global or regional project implementations
  • Configure, deploy, maintain, troubleshoot, and support local, remote, and cloud infrastructure
  • Support servers, workstations, laptops, printers, mobile devices, phones, meeting-room equipment, LAN, Wi-Fi, and telecommunications systems
  • Diagnose and resolve issues affecting end-user software, shared applications, and operating systems
  • Administer Azure environments and portals, including Entra ID, Intune, SharePoint, Teams and Teams Phone, Exchange, and Purview
  • Maintain VMware virtualized hypervisor environments
  • Maintain Veeam and Datto backup, restoration, and disaster recovery environments
  • Carry out onsite hands-and-eyes operations, including backup administration, supervised server restarts, LAN patching, and equipment cabinet management
  • Participate in projects that enhance existing BIS services and deliver new BIS services
  • Handle other reasonable duties aligned with the employee’s skills and abilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline plus 3–5 years of relevant IT experience, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience
  • Experience supporting Windows desktop operating systems
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure and Active Directory
  • Experience with Veeam Backup and Recovery
  • Experience supporting VMware virtual server environments
  • Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Teams, Teams Phone, Exchange, SharePoint, and iPhone or Android mobile technology
  • Working knowledge of how desktop, laptop, server, and printer hardware relates to networks, phones, mobile devices, PC operating systems, databases, and applications
  • A recognized IT qualification or substantial IT experience is preferred
  • Experience in a pharmaceutical GxP-regulated environment is preferred
  • Authorization to work in the United States without additional employer sponsorship is required
