Oil and Gas Pipeline Engineer - Remote, Oklahoma

Design and analyze piping systems for oil, gas, and water infrastructure projects. Support construction, commissioning, troubleshooting, and compliance with applicable engineering standards.

Description

  • Design and evaluate piping systems that support oil, gas, and water conveyance and transportation operations
  • Create efficient piping layouts
  • Conduct hydraulic and stress analyses
  • Interpret P&IDs and isometric drawings
  • Verify compliance with ASME, API, ASTM, and water-industry standards
  • Assist with fabrication, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities
  • Resolve flow, pressure, vibration, and corrosion concerns
  • Maintain compliance with project specifications and HSE regulations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related engineering discipline
  • At least five years of relevant engineering experience
  • Background in oil and gas or water piping design, facility engineering, or pipeline projects
  • Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, isometric drawings, and construction drawings
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with AutoCAD, CADWorx, or comparable design software preferred
  • Strongly preferred experience with CAESAR II
  • Knowledge of ASME B31.3, applicable API codes, and water pipeline design standards
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Availability for occasional travel involving meetings, site visits, and short-term construction assignments
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
