Description
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet patient needs
- Organize and oversee care delivered by supportive personnel
- Coordinate services provided by ancillary care teams
- Involve patients and their significant others or families in individualized care planning
- Educate patients, significant others, and families about diagnoses and care plans
- Advocate for patients throughout their care
- Care for patients receiving treatment for medical, surgical, chronic, minor injury, or illness-related conditions
Requirements
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
