Mobile Engineer (iOS/Android) — Mexico Remote
Build and enhance iHerb’s native iOS and Android applications through Techmahindra. Deliver AI-assisted features, modernize mobile architecture, and help develop cross-platform tools.
Description
- Deliver new features for iHerb’s iOS and Android applications with AI-assisted development tools
- Help modernize the mobile platform through architecture improvements and new capabilities
- Develop tested, maintainable code and manage features from design specification to app store publication
- Work with designers and backend engineers to connect APIs and create new product experiences
- Use Claude Code or comparable AI tools daily for code generation, refactoring, and test automation
- Improve cross-platform tooling and shared component libraries
- Contribute to functionality across mobile and other application layers as required
Requirements
- Strong proficiency with Swift/iOS and Kotlin/Android
- A track record of publishing applications to the App Store or Google Play
- Knowledge of mobile architecture approaches such as MVVM and Clean Architecture
- Production experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor, with daily usage expected
- Working familiarity with .NET/C#, Go, Python, Java, React, MS SQL Server, Azure, or AWS
- Able to contribute across multiple application layers rather than specializing exclusively in one layer
- Experience taking features from initial specification through deployment and ongoing operation
- Solid understanding of software design, automated testing, code review, and CI/CD practices
- At least 7 years of experience at the D3 level
- Advanced English proficiency
