Senior Appian Developer

Description

  • Design Appian Records and configure their types, relationships, views, actions, queries, security, and events.
  • Build Appian workflow applications for regulatory risk and compliance processes.
  • Turn business needs into technical designs, process models, and configurable application components.
  • Configure Appian forms, records, interfaces, reports, and data integrations.
  • Identify process gaps and propose automation solutions.
  • Assist with testing, resolve defects, and prepare applications for deployment.
  • Work with project leads and client stakeholders to set priorities, manage scope, and monitor deliverables.
  • Review junior developers’ work and offer technical guidance.
  • Use compliance, regulatory reporting, and risk-control knowledge to shape application functionality.
  • Diagnose platform issues and maintain stable, supportable solutions.
  • Create documentation, share knowledge, and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Configure Interactions Hub to meet user stories and business and functional needs.
  • Check Appian application health, assess results, and carry out remediation.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree, such as a B.Tech or BE, is required.
  • Four to eight years of experience.
  • English proficiency in speaking and writing.
  • Ability to integrate Appian with external systems.
  • Experience with system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Ability to mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews.
  • Appian Level 2 (Senior Developer) certification is mandatory.
  • Appian development experience on regulatory risk and compliance projects.
  • Experience designing, developing or configuring, and testing Appian integrations.
  • Ability to configure groups and security, database rules, validations, calculation logic, and reference data.
  • Experience leading teams and technical discussions with senior leaders and clients.
