Mobile Engineer - Facilities | Statesville, NC

Maintain HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, and production systems for JLL facilities. This onsite role supports client locations in Statesville and Kernersville, North Carolina.

Description

  • Operate, inspect, and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and production equipment and systems
  • Complete preventive maintenance and respond to repair work orders
  • Maintain, operate, and repair HVAC/R systems, electrical distribution equipment, plumbing systems, building interiors and exteriors, grounds, and production equipment
  • Diagnose and repair facility equipment and systems
  • Conduct facility inspections and due diligence, reporting conditions that may affect client occupancy and operations
  • Submit P-card receipts each day
  • Update work order statuses in real time
  • Record all completed work in CMMS platforms such as Corrigo
  • Handle call-in work and other assigned responsibilities

Requirements

  • Hold a Universal CFC recovery certification, or obtain one within 90 days of employment
  • Have at least four years of technical experience across building engineering disciplines
  • Demonstrate strong experience with HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical systems, and production equipment repair and maintenance
  • Understand overall system design and applications
  • Have experience troubleshooting and maintaining commercial or supermarket refrigeration systems
  • Possess a high school diploma or GED
  • Hold a valid state driver's license
  • Be available for call-in work
  • Be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Experience with CMMS or work order management systems is preferred
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is preferred
  • Two years of trade school or a documented apprenticeship in electrical systems, refrigeration, and HVAC is preferred
