Medicare Advantage Network and Provider Relations Manager

Manage CommuniCare Advantage’s Virginia Medicare Advantage provider network through contract negotiations, provider servicing, and relationship development. Resolve complex network issues while supporting provider education and satisfaction.

Description

  • Execute a strategic plan to recruit, support, and service providers across an assigned geographic area
  • Expand the provider network through contract negotiations, relationship building, and support for all provider types
  • Maintain strong provider relationships through regular on-site, virtual, and in-person visits as needed
  • Explain administrative and program changes to network providers
  • Deliver provider education and coordinate issue resolution
  • Act as a subject-matter resource for complex issues affecting provider satisfaction
  • Investigate and resolve complex provider concerns promptly
  • Support provider education, contract inquiries, and non-routine claims issues

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least five years of experience in network management, provider relations, or both
  • Working knowledge of Medicare programs
  • Strong understanding of managed care and local market conditions
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to travel throughout the service area at least 50% of the time
  • Demonstrated integrity and strong ethical judgment
  • Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and deliver results with minimal supervision
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with people from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds
