Mechanical Integrity and Analysis Engineer - Rolls-Royce Onsite UK

Support Rolls-Royce Defence aerospace programmes through mechanical integrity, structural analysis, lifing, durability and certification work. This full-time onsite role is based in the UK, with locations including Bristol, Derby and Solihull.

Description

  • Deliver mechanical integrity and analytical engineering expertise across Rolls-Royce Defence programmes
  • Contribute to product design, development and certification throughout the engineering process
  • Help maintain safe, dependable and robust aerospace products across their full lifecycle
  • Carry out or assist with structural and stress analysis
  • Develop mechanical integrity assessments and whole-engine models
  • Complete rotordynamics and vibration analyses
  • Support lifing assessments for critical parts
  • Evaluate durability and fatigue performance
  • Contribute to product integrity and certification activities
  • Complete engineering analysis and verification

Requirements

  • A degree in Mechanical, Aerospace or a related Engineering discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Professional experience in stress, integrity, lifing or analytical engineering
  • Working knowledge of fatigue, fracture mechanics, durability or structural assessment
  • Strong analytical skills with effective problem-solving ability
  • Experience in a regulated engineering environment is beneficial
  • Hold Security Check clearance or be eligible for Rolls-Royce support with the application
  • Be a UK national or, where approved by the MoD, a dual national
