Assembly

Description

  • Operate, clean, and inspect production equipment.
  • Carry out efficient equipment changeovers.
  • Follow regulatory requirements and quality standards in the HACCP plan, QMS, and other quality procedures.
  • Take product samples as needed and inspect product and packaging quality.
  • Sanitize equipment and work areas, including taking equipment apart and reassembling it.
  • Recommend ways to improve operations and production with coworkers, focusing on safety, quality, cost, and service.
  • Conduct daily safety checks of material handling equipment.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance and equipment inspections.
  • Operate, adjust, and troubleshoot equipment in production and packaging areas.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
  • At least two years of manufacturing experience is preferred.
  • Willingness and ability to support Nestlé’s culture and follow its established values.
  • Ability to train others.
  • Take initiative and responsibility for equipment, the production line, coworkers, and continuous operational improvement.
  • Work collaboratively with honest communication, a positive attitude, active engagement, and personal accountability.
  • Attention to detail and accurate recordkeeping.
  • Ability to work at a fast pace while handling multiple tasks.
  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
