Master Data Analyst (Remote)

SSM Health is hiring a remote Master Data Analyst to manage item, vendor, contract, and pricing information across its healthcare supply chain. The role focuses on data accuracy, discrepancy resolution, and process support using SAP and Microsoft Excel.

Description

  • Maintain master data records, including item files, contract information, and price lists
  • Create and update contracts, item records, vendor files, transmissions, and database pricing
  • Use enterprise processes, reporting, and item-file management to reduce non-file purchases
  • Assess materials data for accuracy, consistency, and completeness
  • Analyze pricing and other data irregularities, reconciling issues that fall outside established thresholds
  • Review contracts to resolve pricing discrepancies and initiate vendor credit requests
  • Coordinate data elements that connect with clinical and financial information systems
  • Assist process owners, health ministries, and associates by answering questions and resolving data issues
  • Escalate unresolved problems through the appropriate channels
  • Partner with leadership to identify and implement process-efficiency improvements
  • Complete additional duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, equivalent education, or comparable professional experience
  • At least three years of relevant experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and other basic functions
  • Familiarity with SAP Master Data is beneficial
  • Strong written communication skills, especially through email or ticketing systems
  • Residence required in AL, FL, GA, IL, IN, IA, KS, KY, LA, MI, MO, NC, OK, SC, TN, TX, UT, WV, or WI
  • Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing 0–25 pounds
  • Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, reach, and perform repetitive foot, leg, hand, and arm movements
  • Ability to use near- and far-distance vision and depth perception and distinguish colors
  • Ability to use hearing and speech for oral communication and hear alarms and malfunctioning machinery
  • Frequent keyboard use and data entry
  • Ability to occasionally bend, stoop, kneel, squat, twist, and grip
  • Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing 25–50 pounds
  • Ability to rarely climb
  • No professional license or certification is required
