Centering Healthcare Institute
Centering Healthcare Institute
Centering Healthcare Institute is a nonprofit healthcare and education organization advancing the evidence-based Centering group model of care. Its approach brings medical care, patient education, peer support, and connections to community resources together in group visits, with a particular focus on pregnancy and early childhood. The organization works to improve maternal and family health outcomes, including reducing preterm birth and racial disparities, by helping healthcare providers adopt and sustain group-based care. With more than two decades of experience, Centering Healthcare Institute supports providers through training, resources, and a framework for billable group visits. Its model is used at approximately 480 sites across more than 40 U.S. states and territories, in partnership with healthcare providers and institutions.
