Description

  • Address legal issues across the company’s business operations
  • Review contracts and provide legal advice
  • Review and respond to regulations related to autonomous-driving technology and automotive software
  • Handle corporate legal matters involving privacy, data, intellectual property, and fair trade
  • Build the legal environment needed to advance 42dot’s technology and vision

Requirements

  • A Korean attorney license is required
  • Up to eight years of professional experience
  • Experience in IT-related legal work, including investment and M&A, fair trade, privacy, and corporate law
  • Interest in and understanding of the IT, mobility, and related services industries
  • Proactive, self-directed working style with strong communication skills
  • Experience in corporate legal practice at a law firm or as in-house counsel is preferred
  • Experience reviewing English-language contracts and conducting business in English is preferred; admission as a foreign-qualified attorney is also preferred
  • Experience handling intellectual property matters is preferred
  • Experience responding to investigative authorities and government agencies, including the Korea Fair Trade Commission and Personal Information Protection Commission, is preferred
