Description
- Direct complex, high-impact technology initiatives across the organization
- Establish engineering standards and enterprise best practices for large-scale solutions
- Design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and document technology projects and programs
- Evaluate complex technology solutions against tactical and strategic business objectives
- Set engineering and technology direction while guiding teams toward delivery commitments and major initiatives
- Work with technical specialists, senior technology teams, and external industry groups to solve difficult technical problems
- Coordinate with product and program leaders to connect implementation plans and delivery schedules to business objectives
- Improve platform reliability, performance, and operational efficiency by reducing technical debt
- Work across functions to deliver scalable, high-performance cloud-native solutions
Requirements
- At least five years of software engineering experience, or equivalent experience gained through work, training, military service, or education
- At least five years of experience with Java 17 or later, Spring Boot 3.x, Spring Security, Spring Cloud, Hibernate, JPA, Python, Scala, REST APIs, and microservices architecture
- At least one year of hands-on experience using AI-assisted developer tools such as GitHub Copilot and Devin
- Ability to work in a hybrid work environment
- Availability to work additional hours when needed

- Preferred: At least five years of experience with Angular 16, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, jQuery, and AJAX
- Preferred: At least two years of experience working in Agile environments
- Preferred: Strong knowledge of JUnit or TestNG, Selenium frameworks, and test automation
- Preferred: Experience with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform services
- Preferred: Experience with Kafka and event-driven architecture
- Preferred: Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Maven, Gradle, and SonarQube
- Preferred: Knowledge of Ansible, shell scripting, F5, AVI, and infrastructure automation
- Preferred: Experience deploying applications with Tomcat, JBoss, and WebSphere
- Preferred: Strong understanding of MVC architecture, J2EE design patterns, and enterprise application design
- Preferred: Experience delivering secure, scalable, highly available solutions in large enterprise environments
- Preferred: Experience with cloud-native application modernization and migration programs
- Preferred: Experience with enterprise data engineering and analytics platforms
- Preferred: Experience implementing AI-enabled automation and intelligent workflows
- Preferred: Experience in financial services or large-scale enterprise technology environments
