Description

  • Deliver complex software solutions that support business objectives
  • Ensure applications satisfy functional, non-functional, and compliance standards
  • Design, build, and maintain highly available applications for Corporate Treasury and CIO business functions
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, teammates, technology leaders, product managers, and engineering teams across the delivery lifecycle
  • Implement solutions and write unit tests that meet acceptance and compliance criteria
  • Design and update architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers
  • Mentor software engineers and guide the team in CI/CD practices and automation
  • Refine user stories, clarify requirements, and estimate delivery effort
  • Conduct technical spikes and proofs of concept to reduce risk and evaluate new approaches
  • Automate manual release processes
  • Create and maintain integration, regression, and performance test suites
  • Develop end-to-end web applications with Java and modern front-end technologies
  • Build and support RESTful APIs, backend services, and integrations with external systems
  • Develop responsive user interface components with Angular
  • Produce clean, efficient, documented code and participate in code reviews
  • Investigate defects and perform unit and integration testing
  • Improve application performance, scalability, and reliability
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployments, and containerized architectures
  • Track emerging technologies and recommend improvements to tools, processes, and architecture

Requirements

  • At least seven years of experience developing full-stack Java applications
  • Advanced experience with Java, Spring, Angular, Node.js, Oracle, and SQL
  • Practical experience with Spring Framework, Hibernate, and CI/CD tools such as Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Maven, and Ansible
  • Broad full-stack Java development experience spanning backend and frontend systems
  • Experience designing and developing RESTful web APIs and JSON-based integrations
  • Experience with containers, microservices, cloud platforms, and secure coding practices
  • Experience working with Tomcat and Apache application servers
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities
  • Agile development experience, including refining Jira issues with acceptance criteria and managing versioned code releases
  • Proficiency in unit testing, test-driven development, JUnit, and Karma-Jasmine
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working with product owners and end users to define requirements and triage issues
  • Preferred experience with OpenShift, Unix, Kafka, Splunk, Python, Quartz, data analytics or modeling, and financial services
  • Availability for first-shift work in the United States
  • Availability for a 40-hour workweek
