IT Business Analyst, SAP Procurement - Hitachi
Support Hitachi Energy’s procurement transformation across SAP Ariba and SAP Fieldglass. Convert business needs into enterprise solutions, integrations, and process improvements.
Description
- Engage Procurement, Supply Chain, and IT stakeholders to clarify business needs
- Facilitate workshops, process-design sessions, and requirements discovery
- Convert business needs into user stories, functional specifications, process flows, and acceptance criteria
- Contribute to business cases and solution recommendations
- Drive analysis for global enhancements and implementation initiatives
- Work with Solution Architects, Developers, AMS teams, and external implementation partners
- Coordinate design reviews and assess proposed solutions critically when needed
- Support integrations across SAP Ariba, SAP Fieldglass, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Business Network, Microsoft platforms, and third-party systems
- Specify business requirements for interfaces, workflows, approvals, and reporting
- Assist with deployment, go-live, and hypercare support
- Verify alignment with governance, audit, security, and compliance standards
- Keep application and process documentation accurate and complete
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business administration, supply chain management, engineering, or a related discipline
- At least three years of experience as an IT Business Analyst, Functional Consultant, or in a comparable role
- Experience with SAP Ariba and/or SAP Fieldglass is preferred
- Knowledge of procurement, sourcing, supplier management, or external workforce management processes
- Demonstrated experience gathering and documenting enterprise business requirements is essential
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management abilities
- Ability to meet governance, audit, security, and compliance obligations
- Background screening may verify employment history, education, criminal records, and other relevant information
- Certain roles may require additional security screening
